Hertfordshire Constabulary
Visit the Hertfordshire Constabulary website or telephone their non-emergency number: 0845 33 00 222. This number was introduced to make it easier for people to contact the police for advice and information or to report non-emergency incidents.
Non-emergency calls to police
In reply to concerns raised in May by Tring Town Council, Hertfordshire Constabulary has informed us that it has no immediate plans to introduce a three digit non-emergency number. This means that the 0845 number will remain in use (0845 3300222). Calling 0845 numbers can be expensive (especially from mobile phones), but BT and a number of other landline call providers now include 0845 calls within their package and do not charge per call. The Neighbourhood Policing Team for Tring is contactable on 01707 354192.
